Projects
Examples of projects implemented by the participating teams of the project
Oleksandr Bogun, founder and chairman of NGO “Interaction”
Thanks to our participation in the project “Strengthening public activism among young people”, we have created our own organization. We also won our first grant, thanks to which we implemented the “Interaction” project to support, socialize and adapt young IDPs in Kryvyi Rih.
Today, as an NGO, we have organized more than 50 youth projects, volunteer events and training programs.
For our team, the knowledge and skills gained from “Ukrainian Professional Development” are invaluable. Thanks to experts and mentoring support, we were able to understand in detail the issues of project development and implementation, raising funds, filling out grant application, reporting, accounting, conclusion of service contracts and in general everything related to NGO activities. It was our first experience.
After participating in the project, the team of our NGO cooperated with such donors as: UNICEF, UNFPA, EU Mission in Ukraine, NED, Government of Japan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, IREX. This was all made possible thanks to participation in the program “Strengthening civic activism among young people”. The grant we received here helped us to implement our own project and put all the knowledge gained into practice.
Ivan Chubukin, mentor, trainer and consultant of the project
Strengthening civic activism among youth | Let's NGO program provides youth organizations with an integrated approach to learning that contributes to their effective growth and influence in the regions. Through structured training in management, community building and project management, participants gain a clear understanding of not only the theoretical foundations, but also the practical skills to successfully implement their initiatives, accompanied by experienced mentors. This project helps NGOs to solve local problems and attract new activists, which significantly strengthens civic activism in Ukraine, strengthening the capacity of teams to solve their tasks on their own.
Oksana Kalenchenko, project mentor
The structure of the program is very well thought out, especially the fact that there are two parallel tracks: one for the organization and the other for the team and their project! Consultations with a lawyer, for example, have become very helpful to my team. So, it's definitely a good service for young people.
Lyudmila Lukyanova, project mentor
The project team works like a Swiss watch. Always like clarity in work and caring for mentors and mentors with personal attention. The team for me is an example of setting up and managing the operation of the program.
Oleksandra Kulikova, founder of NGO “Institute of Creative Industries”
We went to the training by an initiative group without understanding about the work of the NGO, and we came out with an already formed public organization and with a qualitatively developed project.
