CENTERS IN KHARKIV REGION
Establishment and maintenance of stable work of youth centers
in Kharkiv, Chuguev, Pisochin, Krasnokutsk,
Zmiiv, Zlatopol, Valky, Balakliya, Lozova and Kegichevka.

The project is supported by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)
to provide educational opportunities, psychological support,
youth development and activation of youth movement in communities.
Objective of the project:
Creation and support of sustainable, powerful Youth Centers to support adolescents and youth in Kharkiv region and to activate youth movement in communities
The project operates in three main directions:

Infrastructure development

- Repair and arrangement of youth centers in Kharkiv, Lozova, Zmiiv and Zlatopol.
- Providing 10 centers with modern equipment and necessary materials.
- Grant support to ensure the activities of youth centers and their employees.

Training and support of teams

- Recruitment and training of youth center workers.
- Development and implementation of curricula in informal education, leadership, management and social work.
- Mentor support

Support of mental health of adolescents of Kharkiv region during the war

- Training of youth workers to carry out psychological activities according to the Adolescent Kit methodology.
- Conducting group trainings and art therapy for psychological unloading and increasing emotional intelligence of young people.

Головні етапи проєкту
Етап 1. Відкритий конкурс для закладів професійної освіти.
Етап 2. Відбір учасників/ць проєкту.
Етап 3. Організація та проведення короткострокового профільного навчання.
До проєкту запрошуються учасники віком від 18 до 60 років, які проживають в одній з цільових областей. Проєкт передбачає активне залучення жінок, внутрішньо переміщених осіб, колишніх учасників бойових дій, людей з інвалідністю, батьків, які виховують дітей самотужки, багатодітних батьків, людей, які доглядають за людьми з інвалідністю, людей, які втратили житло тощо.

- Tools to prevent command burnout
Basic training “Youth worker”
With the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Youth Center

- Basics of youth policy and modern working methods
- Practical cases on project organization
- Exchange of experience between specialists from different parts of the region

Project
hath three directions:
Creation and support of new Youth Centers in 4 communities (Kharkiv, Lozova, Zmiiv, Zlatopol)

Advocating the creation of communal institutions for Youth Centers and the allocation of at least 3 rates for youth workers;
- recruitment of MC teams;
Creation and implementation of a training program for employees in order to strengthen the capacity of the MC teams;
Assistance in the established youth NGOs;
Development of educational courses and trainings on non-formal education for beneficiaries;
Development and implementation of a system for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs and the work of the MC;
Allocation of grants for current activities for youth teams;
Purchase of additional equipment and necessary materials for the work of the MC
Support for 6 youth centers that were opened as part of the previous project.
