This training became a very valuable and inspiring experience for me. Despite the online format, over two days I felt constant engagement, support, and a safe space for discussing challenging but extremely important topics. This training became especially valuable now, as the topic of gender-based violence increasingly affects youth at various levels – in relationships, communication, and daily choices. It helped me look at GBV more carefully and deeply, focusing
not only on the problem, but also on how to be present, support, and talk about difficult topics without judgment.

for the high-quality organization, the professionalism of the trainers, and the creation of a space of trust and mutual support. For me, this training is about responding to modern challenges and about real changes that begin with awareness and action.

Despite my 15 years of experience in psychology, becoming a trainer was a powerful 'reboot' for me. The most valuable aspect was seeing how theoretical knowledge transforms into effective tools for influencing an audience. I discovered new interactive methodologies that allow discussing complex topics – violence, stereotypes, boundaries – without pressure or lecturing.

Now, in my work, I more often use the 'peer-to-peer' format and facilitation instead of a classic lecture. This allows children to reach important conclusions themselves, which is much more effective than ready-made advice.

Participating in the training of trainers on combating gender-based violence was not just a valuable experience for me — it marked a new stage in my professional and personal growth. I had prior experience as a trainer, but it was here that I truly felt how knowledge transforms into strength, and practice into confidence. I gained not only a deeper understanding of the nature and manifestations of GBV but also specific tools that I am already using in my work with youth.

It was particularly valuable to realize how stereotypes and prejudices influence behavior, and how we can change the environment to make it safe and supportive.

Before the project began, I observed that young women needed career guidance, improved communication skills, self-presentation, public speaking, and other soft skills. They lacked 'exposure' because they had been online for a long time: first due to COVID-19, and now due to the full-scale invasion. The 'Career' track garnered the most interest, as two training courses were implemented within it: employment and self-employment.

The girls gained new knowledge, had the opportunity to complete internships, receive professional training, and acquire materials to start their own businesses. Meetings with entrepreneurs were also held in this area. These events generated the most interest and were the most actively attended.

The reason lies in that very 'exposure': live communication, real-life stories, and meeting entrepreneurs and company representatives.
