Age allowance to the pension

In August 2025, payments will increase for those pensioners, who during the month will be 70, 75 and 80 years old. The main condition — a person's pension should not be higher than 10 340.35 UAH.

Recall that the age allowance is paid in the following amounts:

▪ persons over the age of 70, before reaching the age of 75 — up to 300 UAH;

▪ persons over the age of 75, before reaching the age of 80 — up to 456 UAH;

▪ persons over 80 years of age — up to 570 UAH.

Payment for Independence Day

In August, certain categories of pensioners will receiveone-time payment for the Independence Day of Ukraine in the amount from 450 to 3100 UAH.

Persons receiving a pension/monthly lifetime cash allowance will be assigned a payment in automatic mode, without personal appeal to the bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

Persons who are not registered in the Pension Fund of Ukraine as recipients of a pension/monthly lifetime cash allowance are paid on their appeals to the territorial bodies of the PFU with the relevant application and documents.

Also in August, Ukrainian pensioners have the right to receive several at once surchargesbefore retirement. For example, an allowance for children or a surcharge for single pensioners.
