Each family involved in the project is diagnosed and tested. After that, an individual support plan is created for her, depending on the needs and requests.
The project targets the most vulnerable families. They receive individual professional services that change the difficult circumstances of their lives and contribute to the full development of children.

The project “Building Stronger Families” offers comprehensive support programs, which include training, psychological assistance, consultations of various specialists.

The project operates in Kharkiv, Sumy and Khmelnytsky regions.
Services,provided by the project:
Socio-emotional and physical rehabilitation of children.
Support in establishing interaction with social services, employment agencies and other institutions.
Individual and group psychological support for children and parents.
Individual and group classes on school subjects.
Preparing preschoolers for the educational process.
Developing the life skills of middle and high school age children to plan their own successful future.
Activities for emotional unloading of children (creative workshops, studios, art therapy, etc.).
Career Guidance Programs for Adolescents.
Trainings for adults and children.
Programs for the development and formation of life skills.

68% of children have improved social skills
They became more attentive and open to other people, learned to manage their own emotions, less often feel fear, anxiety, excitement.
65% of children and 47% of parents had an increased level of psychological well-being
Have better health and sleep, a good mood, communicate with peers, a hobby has appeared.
22% of participants improved relationships between adult family members
Show care, spend time together, quarrel less.
37% of families have improved conditions for the child's life
The condition of the apartment, life, provision of children with the necessary for education have become more satisfactory, parents have improved their financial position.
39% of participants expanded the circle of contact with other family members and the environment
New friends appeared, more often met with relatives, between them there was a trusting relationship.

They communicate more often with teachers at school, help with lessons and extracurricular activities.

Note.These indicators are only part of the results of the project participants and an example of positive change. At the same time, there are some cases when the situation in families has remained unchanged, and the project specialists continue to work with them.

The project coordinators made 1,441 visits to the residences of the participating families to systematically monitor changes and progress in their lives.
