We support people discharged from military service and persons with disabilities in retraining and acquiring a new profession.

SKILLS FOR INCLUSION: WORKPLACE TRAINING TO EMPOWER VULNERABLE GROUPS
We support people who have retired from military service and people with disabilities.

The project “Skills for inclusion: workplace training for the activation of vulnerable groups” is being implemented by NGO “Ukrainian Professional Development” with financial support from the European Union, Germany, Poland and Estonia within the framework of the multi-donor initiative Skills4Recovery, implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIGI) Z) GmbH and Solidarity Fund PL (SFPL)
Within the framework of the project, interactive educational centers are equipped for families with children who find themselves in difficult life circumstances, have suffered educational losses or have special educational needs, who have retired from military service, and persons with disabilities. The project provides an opportunity to under go retraining or improve your qualifications and find work in construction, logistics, agriculture and services.
Geography of Implementation
Blended learning is implemented in 28 educational institutions across 13 regions of Ukraine: Kharkiv, Rivne, Poltava, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Chernivtsi, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Project participants receive:
Retraining or further training (40% theory, 60% practice)
Support from an integration coach, recruiter, and psychologist (if needed);
Financial support during the training period;
Assistance with CV preparation and interview training;
A state-recognized certificate upon completion;
Employment facilitation and job placement support.
