Three years of support from psychologists
With the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the team of the NGO “Ukrainian Professional Development” set out to support as many Ukrainians as possible in extremely difficult circumstances. The main vector of assistance was psychological support — as one of the most necessary forms in times of upheaval and crisis.
One of the effective ways to implement this mission has been to train psychologists across the country. Thus was born a project designed to update and update the knowledge of professionals working in schools, volunteer centers, with children, the elderly, internally displaced persons and families of servicemen.
Over the three years of implementation of the initiative, more than 400 psychologists from all regions of Ukraine have undergone comprehensive training. They gained new knowledge about working with particularly vulnerable clients, learned professional burnout prevention techniques, and mastered practical tools for crisis counseling.
Below you can find out more about the results of the project.
