Two days of fruitful work, more than 35 experts and 250 participants from different parts of the country in one place for the development of social business in Ukraine. Impressive, isn't it true?

This is how we can describe the Forum on Social Entrepreneurship and Corporate Social Responsibility, which is a project USAID Project “Economic Support for Eastern Ukraine”embodied in cooperation SiLab Ucrainaand NGO “Kharkiv Professional Development Foundation”.

These were two information-filled days, where the participants not only listened to information from experts, but also were able to directly participate in discussions, get acquainted with successful Ukrainian social entrepreneurs, representatives of corporations cooperating with impact business in Ukraine, co-founders of crowdfunding platforms and cases of Ukrainian enterprises to raise funds for the development of social business.

The most discussed topics that worried participants and experts were:

• Legal aspects of social business support
• Search for partners and communication with them
• Finding Funding for Organizations
• State support
• New opportunities for education
• Provision of social services to different categories of the population
• Ways to measure and increase the impact
• Vision of the future of social entrepreneurship in eastern Ukraine

A special feature of this forum was a social fair, where social enterprises from eastern Ukraine had the opportunity to present their products, talk about their services and impact on solving social problems.
