45 representatives of NGOs received training from Let's NGO

Recently, the 10th wave of the all-Ukrainian educational project Let's NGO was completed. 45 representatives of NGOs from 5 regions of Ukraine underwent online training on organizational development. This was announced by the project manager of Let's NGO Kamila Trofimchenko.

“For 3 weeks, 10 teams underwent comprehensive training with the support of experienced mentors. This time it was representatives from the frontline and other areas: Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Kyiv and Lviv. 5 initiative groups registered their own public organization. Three out of ten teams of participants received a training grant of $1200 for the implementation of initiatives,” said project manager of Let's NGO Kamila Trofymchenko.

Kamila Trofimchenko also noted the importance of comprehensive support during her studies: constant mentoring and legal support, workshops from experts in key areas: communications, fundraising, financial and project management. This approach guarantees consideration of all aspects of the work of teams in the public sector: from registration of NGOs and formation of first project applications to sustainable development. Upon completion of the training, each NGO has the opportunity to join the Let's NGO Community with access to events, consultations and information support.

Within the framework of the 10th wave of Let's NGOs, as non-governmental organizations, 5 initiative groups were registered. “Bayond” (Sumy region), “Tangle of skills”(Kherson region), “Headquarters of the Future” and “Ukrainian Scoliosis Foundation” (Kyiv region) and “Motanka. Fest”(Lviv region). Key areas of activity of the newly created organizations are development of informal education for adolescents, support of youth initiatives, promotion of cultural heritage, formation of youth diplomacy, change of approach in the medical sphere to issues of prevention and treatment of scoliosis.

It is expected that registration for the next — 11th wave of the all-Ukrainian educational project Let's NGO, will begin in January 2026. The next several waves will be accompanied by teams of previously selected mentors — this year 456 applications were submitted from experts in the public sector (of which 20 were selected for the project).

For reference. The Let's NGO project has been implemented by the NGO “Ukrainian Professional Development” with the support of the National Endowment for Democracy since 2020. The project provides an opportunity for the development of public organizations. In 5 years, 10 training waves were conducted for 90 organizations — 53 of them received registration. 400 participants participated in active work in the public sector. Total number of organizations that received training grants from Let's NGO -- 27.
